(Concern) I hear a sound from my jaw

These symptoms suddenly appeared within the past two months. Usually, there are no symptoms during daily activities such as talking or yawning, but when I first open my mouth to eat, I hear a loud sound exactly at that moment. After that, it’s fine again. If the sound occurs every time I eat, I would go to the hospital, but since it happens intermittently, I’m hesitant to visit and am just watching it, though it’s bothering me. Why is this happening?
