How long should I expect my implants to last?

Hello! I am writing this post because I am curious about the lifespan of dental implants.

 

My mom is now in her late 40s, and I was told she needs dental implants.

 

My mom hadn't even thought about getting implants, so both she and I were taken aback.

 

I realized that I needed to know how long implants last so I could be prepared for them.

 

I heard that Osstem Implants are the most famous, and I noticed their warranty period is two years.

 

I thought implants were covered by insurance if you were 65 years old...

 

Since that's not the case, it feels a bit burdensome... haha

 

The warranty period for Osstem implants is 2 years, but is it true that the lifespan of an implant is about 10 years?

 

In this era of centenarians, I think a lifespan of 10 years for an implant is too short...
