Why do teeth feel more sensitive after getting a scaling?

I had a scaling done recently.
Since that day, my teeth feel slightly sensitive whenever I drink cold water.

I was worried that my teeth might have weakened because of the scaling.
I looked it up and heard that you might feel more sensitive than usual as the tartar attached to your teeth is removed.

Although it is said that there are temporary cases
I was told that if the sensitivity persists for a few days, I should get it checked at the dentist, so I am waiting to see how it goes.

Has anyone else had a similar experience after scaling?
