How should I manage tartar on my lower front teeth?

They say they brush their teeth, but I wonder if they aren't brushing their lower front teeth properly.

I get tartar often.

I find using dental floss difficult, so I am using an interdental brush.

Would it be better to use dental floss?

What is the best way to prevent tartar from forming?
