I cured this numbness by improving my brushing and taking nutritional supplements.
I never really felt sensitive teeth before, but about a year ago, I started to notice it more often, especially when I ate cold foods. The constant sensitivity made me anxious every time I ate, so I decided to find a treatment for this sensitivity. After researching various products, I purchased a toothbrush and supplements that were supposed to help with the sensitivity. After brushing my teeth with the new toothbrush and taking the supplements for a few months, the sensitivity gradually disappeared, and the sensitivity was cured.
There are many reasons for tooth sensitivity. In my case, I even went to the dentist, and even after getting my cavity filled and the cracks between my teeth filled, the sensitivity persisted, so the dentist said they couldn't pinpoint the specific cause.
So, I personally looked up various information on how to treat this numbness, and it seemed like it might be related to periodontal wear or tooth sensitivity.
Periodontal abrasion occurs when brushing too hard with a thick toothbrush wears down the cervical region, causing this numbness. So, to treat this numbness, I bought a toothbrush with soft, thin bristles and changed my brushing habits to one of gentler brushing and less pressure.
And it's said that dental hypersensitivity can also cause this numbness. Dental hypersensitivity refers to a condition in which the dentin of the teeth becomes sensitive to external stimuli, causing numbness or tingling pain.
Supplements that can help relieve tooth sensitivity and treat tooth sensitivity include calcium, magnesium, and omega-3s. Calcium and magnesium are essential nutrients for maintaining the structural health of teeth and gums, while omega-3s are said to support gum health and help treat tooth sensitivity.
So, to treat this numbness, I consistently took calcium, magnesium, and omega-3 supplements for a year.
To treat this sensitivity, I brushed my teeth properly and took nutritional supplements for about a year, and now my tooth sensitivity is almost gone. I plan to continue working hard to maintain my dental health.

- 02CommentsIf there are no issues with your teeth or X-rays, it could be a temporary symptom caused by fatigue or stress. You may experience throbbing pain if your gums are tired or if you have a habit of clenching your teeth while sleeping. Please brush your teeth with warm water, get plenty of rest, and monitor the situation a little longer. If the symptoms persist, I recommend getting a follow-up examination at a different dental clinic.441026.10.13

- 01CommentsYes, even if they look fine on the outside, it is a good idea to check old crowns regularly. Even if the crown itself hasn't cracked, cavities can form between the crown and the tooth, or the bonding can weaken, making it difficult to detect these issues just by looking. Especially for old crowns, it is advisable to check the edges of the crown, the condition of the gums, the presence of internal cavities, and the condition of the tooth roots and surrounding bone during regular checkups. X-rays can also be used for verification if necessary. However, there is no need to replace a perfectly good crown simply because it is old. If there is no pain, discomfort when chewing, food getting stuck, or swollen gums, many people choose to keep their crowns while monitoring their condition.555026.09.28

- 03CommentsYes, it is a good idea to check old dental prosthetics periodically, even if they look fine on the outside. Prosthetics like crowns or bridges may appear fine on the outside, but cavities can form on the inner teeth or the adhesive strength can weaken. If it were me, during a regular check-up, I would check for: cavities on the edges of the prosthetics whether there is any swelling or receding of the gums if there is any discomfort or pain when chewing and, if necessary, the condition of the tooth roots and surrounding areas using X-rays. I think I would check these things together.603026.09.28
