Concern) Postoperative care for toe fracture surgery

My younger sibling recently had surgery for a toe fracture and had the pins removed after six weeks, but they said it's still difficult to walk right away.

The doctor said I can walk right away, but I think my younger sibling finds walking very uncomfortable.

I don't know when I should receive physical therapy or how long it will be uncomfortable to walk.

And even after removing the cast, they say the bone hasn't fully healed, so I'm worried about whether it might break again.
