I tried it once before and found that a non-sedated upper endoscopy is manageable. So I also did it non-sedated this year. It was only about 1 to 2 minutes, so it was tolerable.
If there is something like a polyp above, do you sleep and remove it? I don't think I can endure it for a long time without sleep, so I'm curious. It was still said to be clean, but my younger sibling said they removed a polyp from the stomach.
Next time, should I do it with sleep? If not sleeping, and if there are polyps, should I do it again with sleep? I am curious. If anyone knows, please reply.
