I bought it for a light hike, but...

I wear them more often in everyday life than for hiking.

I have replaced the sole twice so far.

Maybe because the exterior is leather, the sole looks clean when worn down.

These days, I can just wear them on snowy days without worrying about getting them dirty.

Once the weather warms up again, I should go hiking in the neighborhood mountain frequently.
