(Question) Esophagitis symptoms: ENT? Internal Medicine? Where should I go?
2026.03.06 10:52
I was diagnosed with esophagitis through an endoscopy and had no symptoms. However, I recently felt a foreign body sensation in my throat, and am currently taking medication for esophagitis. I don't feel any acid reflux, so I don't have reflux esophagitis. I first visited an internal medicine doctor for esophagitis. If the medication doesn't work, can I be referred to an otolaryngologist? I don't have a cough due to esophagitis. I'm also wondering if esophagitis symptoms can be observed with a laryngoscopy performed by an otolaryngologist.

- 01CommentsDid you go to the hospital and get a prescription for medicine and eye drops? I'm also suffering right now because I have a stye and even developed blepharitis. I hope you take your medicine and get better soon.420026.10.20
- 02CommentsIf you have multiple family members who have suffered from dementia, it is understandable that you would be worried. You do not necessarily have to take brain supplements to prevent dementia. Just because a supplement is said to be good for brain health does not mean there is sufficient evidence to prove that it actually lowers the risk of developing dementia. If you have a family history, it is more important to identify your own risk factors and focus on proven preventive care rather than choosing supplements first.770026.10.16
- 03CommentsI understand that the cost of the medication is a burden. In that case, try taking the medicine while also adjusting your diet. If you manage your health and improve your physical condition, the need for medication will gradually decrease.550026.10.15
