[Dr. Park Dental Clinic] I was most worried about the pain from the inlay treatment.
① What procedure/surgery were you considering?
I went to the dentist for treatment because the area where I had a cavity treated in my molar started hurting again. It has been 10 years since the treatment, and over time, a cavity had formed again, so an inlay treatment was necessary.
② What were your biggest concerns?
The dentist is a place I really dread going to, even normally. I, too, honestly didn't want to go because I was afraid of the pain and the cost, but I decided to visit because I felt I shouldn't let the toothache go untreated for too long. My two main concerns were pain and cost.
③ Which hospital did you visit?
• Dr. Park Dental Clinic
• Cavity inlay treatment
It is very accessible since it is near my home. Also, I always go there with confidence because it is where I get my scaling and checkups regularly. I have been coming for about 5 years, and I am always satisfied because there is no unnecessary treatment and the cost explanations are detailed.
④ How was the consultation or treatment?
The cost of dental treatment is daunting above all else. In particular, the price of cavity inlay treatment varies widely depending on the material. There were three options to choose from—gold, resin, and ceramic—and since they differ in lifespan and strength, I needed a detailed explanation. The detailed description of the differences, costs, durability, and pros and cons of each was very helpful in making my selection.
⑤ Did your opinion change after the actual visit?
My biggest concerns were the pain and the cost. The anesthetic injection was incredibly painful, but I gritted my teeth and endured it. Thankfully, the cavity treatment itself wasn't very painful after that. Regarding the cost, since I chose resin, I received excellent treatment at a very reasonable price. As expected, it is best not to worry and to get a consultation and treatment as soon as possible. 👍
