I visited the hospital because I woke up with severe pain in my foot, and I wasn't sure if I had sprained my instep or if something was wrong with it.
When I went in for the examination, the doctor felt around here and there and suggested taking an X-ray, so I had it taken and waited. When the results came back, there were no abnormalities. Then the doctor said it seemed like plantar fasciitis. He recommended shockwave therapy, so I went into the rehabilitation room and lay down. A therapist came in, applied some liquid, and rubbed it with a machine, and it hurt a lot. He told me that it is normal to feel pain if there is inflammation inside.
After a few minutes, the treatment was over. It hurt, but it felt refreshing?
