Today, I went to the dentist to get orthodontic treatment. The smell of disinfectant made me a little nervous when I entered. After registering, I waited for a while, and then went into the examination room. The doctor checked my teeth again and carefully checked the fit of the braces. It hurt a little when the wires were slightly tightened, but the thought of my teeth being straightened made it bearable. The hygienist explained how to brush my teeth and how to put on the rubber bands again. After the treatment, I looked in the mirror and, although it still felt awkward, I was excited to see how things would change. I made my next appointment and headed home. I was nervous, but the doctor was very attentive.
