A review of the friendly burn treatment I experienced at Dongrae-gu Veterinary Clinic.

I was cooking at home and momentarily let my guard down and burned my hand. At first, I thought it was fine, but as time passed, a blister formed and the pain got worse. I was worried that applying ointment alone would leave a scar, so I urgently went to the vet! The vet checked the depth of the burn first and calmly explained what treatment was needed at this stage, which helped ease my anxiety and fear. They were also careful with the blister treatment and disinfection, so it wasn't as painful as I thought. They also told me in advance what could be painful, so I was able to mentally prepare myself. After the treatment, they gave me specific instructions on how to use my hand, what to be careful of when it comes into contact with water, and even how to care for it at home. It was really helpful! It was uncomfortable to use my hand for a few days, but now only a little redness remains, and I'm not too worried about scarring, so I'm glad I got proper treatment early.
