Review of the amalgam replacement I was anxious about at Jeil Cheongwon Dental Clinic
Amalgam is silver and resin is white.
I wanted to go with this because, even though amalgam isn't pretty (it's a bit ugly), it is covered by insurance.
It is because I used to chew on ice with great enjoyment, and perhaps because I did so so often, all my teeth were completely ruined.
I also need to treat cavities, and I was told that I have at least 7 teeth that need to be replaced and filled immediately.
Since there are dental clinics everywhere, I was debating where to go, so I went to a clinic that claims not to overtreat.
This is because I remember the doctor there being prickly but the cost being cheap.
It doesn't matter at all if the doctor is rude. I have no complaints as long as they don't smash my teeth and do it for a cheap price.
Isn't this person recommending resin to me? Resin is a non-insured treatment, and the price is 100,000 won per tooth.
Amalgam is ugly, but it only costs a few thousand won.
I said I wouldn't do it, so I asked someone I know, and they said they also had a treatment covered by insurance, and that instead of the ugly silver color like amalgam, there is a method that matches the color of the teeth (I don't remember the name), and there were no problems.
Filled with a victim mentality, I didn't like the fact that the doctor was rude and rip-off, so I went to another dental clinic that could fill in amalgam.
It's Jeil Cheongwon Dental Clinic~ But I was told not to do too many things at once, so I postponed the date.
I happily visited that place by car.
I lay there with my mouth open, filled with fear (because tooth sensitivity is a concern during cavity treatment~)
"Resin here, resin here too~" The doctor kept saying, so I told him I wanted to go with something covered by insurance.
Then, they coolly did it for me right away.
I fixed all the teeth to normal, and it only cost a few tens of thousands of won.
At first, it was a hassle, and I felt anxious and scared, but once I actually went, I felt courageous and relieved, and over the next few days, I was able to get it replaced smoothly.
I went to the market and bought some fish cakes to eat. I was so proud and happy that I practically died of joy, so I bragged about it like crazy. Haha.
