Vaccinations by age were so difficult for a first-time mom. On Mamitalk, there are schedules for infant checkups and vaccinations by age, but I didn't know what D-Tab, Polio, Rotavirus, etc., were. With so many types, I really had no idea if I was supposed to get them all at once.
(I thought giving the kid 5 shots was going to kill him.) Even booking an appointment at a pediatric clinic via Ddokdak is fierce.
I was worried because I heard the wait is incredibly long if you visit without an appointment, but perhaps because I visited on a weekday, I was able to book easily via Ddokdak and see the doctor almost immediately without waiting. The director was so nice.
I wanted to get the second infant checkup, but I was disappointed to find out that they don't offer it. It was great that they spoke softly and calmly so as not to startle the baby, and explained things easily and accurately so that Mom and Dad could understand.
