I am leaving an honest review after visiting Maypure Clinic.
Overall, this visit was very disappointing. I felt there was little consideration or basic respect for foreign patients.
First, the staff member who guided me to the procedure room before the procedure was quite rude. Their tone was somewhat harsh, and their overall approach lacked any sense of consideration for the patient. Perhaps because I was a foreigner, they didn't provide sufficient explanations, and their communication felt very insincere.
After the procedure, things got even more chaotic. The staff member simply told me to "get up" and left. I received no instructions on where to go next. I still had another procedure scheduled, and they just left without any explanation. I ended up having to put on my shoes and go to the waiting room by myself, looking around for the staff member. No one told me where to go or what to do.
Another thing that bothered me was the constant recommendation of specific procedures during the consultation. In particular, it felt like relatively expensive procedures like Vitaran were being recommended to all patients. I clearly stated, "I want collagen toning and shrinking," but the staff member sighed in annoyance upon hearing that, which was incredibly unpleasant. I believe it's important to respect the patient's treatment preferences.
It's truly unacceptable to assume foreigners don't know anything or ignore them. I believe basic explanations and courtesy should be provided equally to all patients.
One positive thing, though, was that one of the doctors was very polite, and the staff at the reception desk was also very friendly. I appreciated that.
However, considering the overall experience, I wouldn't want to visit again. I hope they re-evaluate their approach to treating patients, especially foreign patients. Personally, I can't recommend this clinic.
