After completing the root canal treatment, I had a mold taken for a crown. I was under anesthesia, so it barely hurt, but there was a little bit of pain when they put the thread into my gums to make the impression. While the material was setting, my saliva overflowed, so I wiped it with a tissue and sat down. It took about five minutes to set, but they said it was fine after two impressions. They gave me brief explanations and warnings that it might hurt and that it would be stiff, which helped me prepare. It was frustrating not knowing what was going on because I couldn't see, but there was nothing I could do. I think that's what makes the dentist so scary. The entire procedure took about an hour and a half, but when it was over, I felt like I'd escaped hell. It wasn't anything special, but the nerves and fear of the unknown weighed on me, making me feel like I was losing all my strength. The staff's kindness really touched my heart. I'm lucky to have found a great dental clinic close to home.
