Based on information from American health and medical media outlets such as 'Prevention,' we have compiled a list of foods that are good and bad for the skin.

🔺️Berries = The sweet and sour berries contain vitamin C and E, and beta-carotene, which act as powerful antioxidants. In particular, anthocyanins, a type of flavonoid pigment, have antioxidant capacity 50 times greater than vitamin E, eliminating active oxygen and strengthening cell walls.

 

🔺️Omega-3 rich fish = Blue fish such as salmon, mackerel, and sardines are full of omega-3 fatty acids, making them ideal for skin beauty. Omega-3 fatty acids have excellent anti-inflammatory properties, preventing skin troubles and reducing moisture evaporation, making them effective for moisturizing care. Astaxanthin in salmon enhances skin elasticity, while riboflavin in mackerel suppresses sebum secretion, helping to remove blemishes.

 

🔺️Foods that induce deep sleep=Deep sleep also has a significant impact during sleep. Bananas are rich in dietary fiber, helping to eliminate waste products, and magnesium and potassium induce muscle relaxation. Tryptophan and vitamin B6 help promote the secretion and synthesis of the sleep hormone melatonin, allowing for longer, more restful sleep.

 

🔺️Walnut = Walnuts are effective for maintaining thick, healthy hair. Rich in vitamin E, which helps repair damaged hair follicles, and unsaturated fatty acids that hydrate the skin and hair to give them a shiny appearance, walnuts can help you achieve both healthy skin and beautiful hair at the same time.

 

🔺️Dark chocolate = Dark chocolate not only benefits skin health but also mental health. Dark chocolate with over 80% cacao content contains a large amount of polyphenols, which have a strong antioxidant effect that prevents skin aging and helps with moisture retention.

 

According to research, the group that consumed cocoa for 12 weeks experienced a 25% reduction in skin moisture loss. Additionally, a research team from the Department of Nutritional Physiology at the University of Maine in the United States revealed that chocolate stimulates the brain's cognitive areas, enhancing memory and abstract thinking abilities.

 

 

Foods that cause presbyopia

 

Caffeine and alcohol beverages = Caffeine stimulates brain and nervous system activity and excites the sympathetic nervous system, promoting metabolism and raising blood pressure. When the action of adenosine, a fatigue-inducing substance, is blocked, behavior becomes faster, concentration improves, and mental clarity is enhanced.

 

However, excessive caffeine intake is a shortcut to presbyopia. Caffeine promotes diuresis, leading to the expulsion of fluids from the body. When hydration is insufficient, the skin becomes dry and its defenses weaken. This makes the skin more susceptible to external viruses and causes wrinkles.

 

Blood circulation slows down, leading to a dull complexion and the accumulation of waste products in the body, which increases inflammation. Excessive caffeine intake from coffee, green tea, energy drinks, and other sources should be avoided. Alcohol also promotes dehydration through its diuretic effect. When drinking alcohol, be sure to drink an equal amount of water and be careful not to overconsume.

 

Let's also refrain from spicy foods. Eating spicy foods causes blood vessels to dilate, enlarging pores and worsening facial flushing. It can also cause sweating, which mixes with skin bacteria and leads to breakouts. Seasonings high in sodium can easily cause swelling and harm vascular health.

 

Sweetened juice = Thinking that juice is healthy is also a misconception. Sweetened juice contains liquid fructose, similar to carbonated drinks or canned coffee, which promotes cell aging and increases inflammation. It also causes a rapid spike in blood sugar, leading to obesity and easily converting into fatty acids, increasing the risk of fatty liver disease.
