Are you from Pohang?
Grown in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, it is smaller than regular spinach with longer roots.
It is said to be firm, reddish in color, and to have excellent sweetness and aroma.
So, during this season, I mostly make kimbap with Pohancho.
Spinach is only grown from October to March, so if it's not during that time, it's hard to eat it properly.
Today, I bought the first grade of Pohang Elementary School.
I bought five pieces of kimbap, so maybe that's why the kimbap is different than usual.
It is filled with spinach.
The texture is also nice~~
Eat Pohangcho, which has a perfect efficacy score.
1. Benefits of spinach
1. Vascular health Potassium helps eliminate waste products and sodium from the body, positively affecting blood circulation.
Therefore, the blood inside the vessels becomes cleaner, which helps regulate arteriosclerosis, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels, providing beneficial effects in preventing vascular diseases.
② Eye health Contains vitamin A and abundant beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the body, helping to relieve eye fatigue, protect vision, and prevent eye diseases such as cataracts and dry eye syndrome.
3. Bone health Calcium, folic acid, and iron are rich in these nutrients, which help strengthen the bones of growing children and increase bone density, making them effective in preventing osteoporosis.
4. Skin health Antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamin E help prevent aging by removing reactive oxygen species that cause aging, assist in collagen production, and prevent melanin pigmentation, thereby maintaining clear and firm skin.
5. Anemia prevention Folic acid and iron are rich in nutrients that help in the production of red blood cells, and iron, which is a component of hemoglobin, plays a role in supplying oxygen to the body, making it highly effective in improving and preventing anemia symptoms.
6. Cancer Prevention The glutathione component is excellent for detoxification and removing carcinogens, while the antioxidant beta-carotene has the effect of inhibiting the development and proliferation of cancer cells.
7. Prevention of constipation Dietary fiber helps activate intestinal movement, and saponin and magnesium components are effective in improving constipation.
CommentsIt seems you have good eyesight, but the most important thing about eye health is to take care of and protect your eyes in advance while they are still in good condition.
Please take frequent breaks by looking at the screen from a distance whenever your eyes get tired.
CommentsIf you feel fine normally but experience symptoms resembling strabismus when you space out or lose concentration, it would be a good idea to get an eye exam at an ophthalmologist.
If these changes have been occurring frequently recently, it is best not to dismiss them as mere fatigue.
If accompanied by double vision or decreased visual acuity, please seek medical attention promptly.

CommentsIt’s your favorite season, so it must be hard to fully enjoy it if your eyes are dry.
Please pay attention to indoor humidity, and don't overexert yourself when your eyes are very uncomfortable.
CommentsYes, it is worth getting your eyes checked if your vision remains the same but your eyes get tired easily. While it could simply be fatigue caused by overuse, there may also be underlying causes that are not easily visible on an eye chart, such as dry eyes, reduced focusing ability, or early signs of presbyopia.
In particular, if you experience slow focus, eye strain, or even headaches after looking at close text for a long time, it is advisable to have it checked by an ophthalmologist. For those in their 40s or older, these symptoms may appear first as presbyopia begins to set in.
If it were me, I would start by checking not only your vision but also your refraction test, tear film, and dry eye status. It is best to seek medical attention as soon as possible if the condition has suddenly worsened, if only one eye feels particularly uncomfortable, or if it is accompanied by symptoms such as blurred vision, double vision, pain, or flashes of light.
