(Concern) I'm worried that I might have presbyopia.
There is a significant difference in vision between both eyes, and I usually experience eye fatigue and frequent headaches.
I am frequently concerned about eye health, so I regularly visit the ophthalmologist, and recently I visited the hospital due to dry eyes.
He mentioned having myopia and gave a prescription so I could get glasses. During the glaucoma test, the intraocular pressure was slightly high.
It is not a condition that can be diagnosed based on symptoms; I was told to only have regular check-ups once a year.
Recently, my eye fatigue has worsened again, and while searching various things, I noticed symptoms of presbyopia, which I usually find uncomfortable.
I was surprised because the symptoms are so similar. When alternately looking at distant and close objects, the focus shift becomes slow, especially when reading a book.
The symptom is that my eyes are tired and I may have a headache, and I regularly go to the hospital because of these symptoms.
Can these symptoms appear even if I don't have presbyopia, or are these symptoms specifically and distinctly associated with presbyopia?
I'm wondering if it's a symptom. If the hospital determines it's presbyopia, do they tell you it's presbyopia?
I'm worried about whether I need to visit the hospital again for a check-up. I'm more concerned about presbyopia correction, which involves LASIK or lens implantation surgery.
It's scary even when it works.
