Hello
As I entered my late 40s, my eyes became very blurry, and I wondered if I was developing presbyopia, so I visited an ophthalmologist. They told me I was in the early stages of presbyopia. My vision is still very good, but I couldn't tolerate the discomfort, so I was advised to go to an optical shop and get the lowest prescription magnifying glasses. I endured this for about a year, then got them fitted earlier this year and have been using them. However, I only need them for small print or when using a computer, so I don't see very well without them.
As I communicate within this community and use my jazz phone, I noticed that I wear my glasses more often, but actually, repeatedly putting them on and taking them off seems to make my eyesight worse.
Would multifocal lenses be helpful in this situation?
