Suji Seoul Eye Clinic is very good at treating cataracts.
My mother often said that as she got older, her vision became blurry and she was frustrated.
At first, I thought he would be okay, but he said he was having trouble seeing, so I took him to the nearby Suji Seoul Eye Clinic.
There were more people waiting than I thought, and I thought about going to another hospital because of the wait, but the doctor was so nice.
There are two treatment rooms, one for 1st and one for 2nd, and I saw that there were two doctors, a male and a female, treating patients.
Although there were many people waiting, we were treated by the male director in the first examination room.
The guardians were able to come in with us and listen to the conversation, and they were very kind and helpful in answering questions.
First of all, before entering the examination room, the nurse did all the basic tests.
So there were machines like this next to the waiting room.
They said that cataract surgery is done in one eye at a time, so my mom had it done on one eye at a time.
The surgery was scheduled for a different day in the morning, and there was a small surgical room right next to the examination room.
The surgery was over faster than I thought, but I think it took longer to prepare because of the anesthesia.
They even gave me eye drops so I can keep putting them in every hour.
My mother was so satisfied that she decided to have cataract surgery on her other eye at this hospital later.
The treatment is available every day except for holidays and public holidays.
After the surgery, I continued to visit the hospital, but it was until 6:30, so I was able to visit the hospital in the afternoon these days.
I think it would be helpful for others to refer to this as well.

- 01CommentsYes, it is worth getting your eyes checked if your vision remains the same but your eyes get tired easily. While it could simply be fatigue caused by overuse, there may also be underlying causes that are not easily visible on an eye chart, such as dry eyes, reduced focusing ability, or early signs of presbyopia. In particular, if you experience slow focus, eye strain, or even headaches after looking at close text for a long time, it is advisable to have it checked by an ophthalmologist. For those in their 40s or older, these symptoms may appear first as presbyopia begins to set in. If it were me, I would start by checking not only your vision but also your refraction test, tear film, and dry eye status. It is best to seek medical attention as soon as possible if the condition has suddenly worsened, if only one eye feels particularly uncomfortable, or if it is accompanied by symptoms such as blurred vision, double vision, pain, or flashes of light.565026.09.28
- 02CommentsYes, even if your vision isn't blurry, if you repeatedly feel that your focus is slow to set, it is worth getting an eye exam at an ophthalmologist. Especially for those over 40, **presbyopia (decreased accommodative power)**, which causes a delay in focusing when shifting from close objects to distant ones, is one of the common causes. For example, if your vision is briefly blurry before settling when you look at a TV or a distant object after reading a book or using your phone, it is likely related to presbyopia. However, if the symptoms are particularly severe in only one eye, appeared suddenly, or are accompanied by double vision, a feeling of obstructed vision, eye pain, severe headaches, flashes of light, or floaters, it is best not to dismiss it as simple presbyopia and seek medical attention promptly. If it were me, I would go beyond just a vision test and have a comprehensive checkup that includes refraction, intraocular pressure, and fundus examination. This is especially true if the symptoms have increased noticeably recently.1955026.09.28
- 03CommentsThere are cases where X-rays are recommended even if there is no visible pain or cavities. This is because conditions around the tooth roots, the state of the alveolar bone, and issues between teeth, which are difficult to check from the outside, can be seen more clearly in radiographic images. We do not take X-rays for everyone without symptoms every time. After conducting an oral examination, we take X-rays only when necessary, based on a comprehensive assessment of age, risk of cavities and gum disease, past treatment history, and previous images. If gum disease is suspected, X-rays can be helpful in checking the extent of bone loss supporting the teeth. If your dentist suggests a checkup even though your teeth look fine on the outside, you should understand that they are doing so because the visible condition of your teeth may differ from the actual condition of the alveolar bone and roots.724126.09.21
