Is it a good idea to check eye pressure regularly even if my vision isn't blurry?

I haven't felt like my eyesight has significantly deteriorated yet, and my eyes don't hurt, so I haven't had much reason to go to the ophthalmologist.

However, hearing that there are aspects of the eyes that need to be checked regularly rather than after discomfort arises made me a little concerned.

I am wondering if it is advisable for adults without specific symptoms to get regular eye pressure or fundus examinations depending on their age.
