(Concern) Mid-40s. Is insurance coverage available for detailed eye examinations?

Hello. I am a woman in my mid-40s.

Both eyes have a visual acuity of 1.2 or higher, so there is no myopia. However, for the past 2 to 3 years, I have had difficulty seeing small letters clearly, so I take photos with my phone and enlarge them to read. Also, it seems that I cannot see distant text as well as before.

They say it's just presbyopia. I'm worried about the rapid change compared to before.

I want to undergo a detailed examination when I visit the ophthalmology department, but can I also get tests like retinal vessel CT covered by insurance for these symptoms? For your reference, my mother is currently undergoing treatment for macular degeneration in her retina. I would like to know what symptoms are necessary to proceed with a detailed examination.
