Foods good for the eyes ~ Shall we check them out?
Are you eating foods that are good for your eyes?
I happened to find out while writing a health story haha
I think it's okay to get to know each other again once more~~
1. Fish
Salmon, mackerel, trout, and sardines are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help combat dry eye syndrome.
2. Carrot
You can enjoy eating it frequently anytime through cooking.
As I learned in school, vitamin A and beta-carotene help promote eye health.
It also helps to keep blood pressure stable.
Rich in dietary fiber, it helps prevent overeating and is good for dieting~
3. Beef
Beef rich in zinc can help slow down age-related vision loss or macular degeneration.
4. Corn
It is rich in zeaxanthin and lutein, which help with eye health~
Additionally, there are research findings suggesting that regular intake can reduce the risk of cataracts and prevent the decrease of melanin pigment in the eyes.
5. Egg
Eggs are also rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, and they also contain a lot of vitamin C, E, and zinc.
I think it would be good to take one each day~
6. Sweet potato
Sweet potatoes are also foods rich in beta-carotene, just like carrots.
People who dislike the distinctive aroma of carrots can absorb beta-carotene through sweet potato consumption, and the potassium and vitamin B6 found in sweet potatoes help keep blood vessels healthy.
7. Nuts
I usually add nuts like walnuts, cashews, almonds, and peanuts when stir-frying anchovies. Eating this way, I don't feel the need to take supplements. Since it's good for the eyes, I think I'll eat it regularly every day, haha.
8. Citrus fruits
Vitamin C contains antioxidants that prevent age-related eye damage, so it's good for your eyes~
9. Green leafy vegetables
Green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale are rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, which are good for the eyes.
10. Water
Water, which is essential for sustaining life, is also important for eye health. Drinking enough water can prevent dehydration and reduce symptoms of dry eyes.
