Simochan ENT Clinic's honest review of flu treatment.

It is a very good location for apartment residents to visit, as it is not far from the 4-way intersection in Gwanpyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

Located in the apartment complex shopping area, residents can easily walk there and also use the parking lot, making transportation very convenient.

There is a shared parking lot behind the building, making parking convenient.

 

 

Clinic hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays.

It's good for office workers to visit because the clinic is open until 1 PM on Saturday.

 

The hospital interior and interior are clean and spacious.

Since it's a well-known ENT clinic in the neighborhood, there are many people every time I go, but it seems convenient because you can make a reservation in advance or wait in a spacious waiting area without discomfort.

 

 

Usually when I have a cold, I go to the internal medicine, but our family often visits an otolaryngology clinic instead. Every time we go to Misochan Otolaryngology Clinic, I feel that the doctor carefully examines us and always treats us kindly and explains things thoroughly. The nurses also seem to guide us politely and well. That's why I always feel there are many patients.

So, even when I had cold symptoms, I visited Misochan ENT more often than nearby internal medicine clinics, but this time, when I visited the hospital with cold and flu symptoms, I felt a bit disappointed.

 

What I felt was disappointing was that there were also customers who came without making an appointment, so it was very crowded. It's hard to wait when you're sick, and even though I had made an appointment because there were many patients, I ended up waiting longer than expected.

And knowing that there are many patients, perhaps because of being busy and feeling anxious, it was a hospital that considered meticulousness and kindness as its strengths...

Usually, even when visiting for a cold, I would have my mouth, stethoscope, ears, and nose checked. During the recent visit, I was told to just mention my symptoms and only checked the areas that seemed abnormal, giving me the feeling that they wanted to quickly finish the consultation. Also, when I tried to ask questions about my condition, I felt uncomfortable because of the doctor’s unfriendly tone and facial expressions, which made it hard to ask questions.

And when checking for the flu, the reception desk did not inform us in advance about the flu test cost and the IV fluid fee.

After being diagnosed with the flu, I was advised that getting IV fluids might help me feel better, so I went straight to the IV room. (The staff was not very friendly and seemed to be rushing through the instructions.)

I had received an IV once before, so I roughly knew the cost, but since this was my first time testing for the flu, I didn't know the medical expenses.

There are many patients, so it's understandable to be busy and forgetful, but I was quite disappointed that having many patients led to rushing through consultations and feeling uncomfortable about asking questions in the examination room.

 

If there are many scheduled patients, it would be better to inform them that there are many appointments and not to accept too many patients at once. Also, when providing treatment or incurring additional hospital costs, it would be helpful to inform patients in advance about the potential additional charges (such as flu test costs, IV fluid costs).
