As a man in his 40s, I underwent both a gastroscopy and a colonoscopy at the internal medicine department to check my health. Although I felt vague fear and anxiety before the examination, the medical staff guided me very kindly from registration to the consultation, which put me at ease. In particular, they explained the pre-examination preparation process and precautions in detail, allowing me to prepare without much difficulty despite it being my first time undergoing the tests. Since the procedure was performed under sedation, I felt almost no pain or discomfort during the examination, and I was able to recover quickly without any major aftereffects upon waking. After the examination, the doctor explained the results calmly and in an easy-to-understand manner, and provided thorough guidance on future care, which I found very satisfying. Overall, I felt that the hospital's system was systematic and trustworthy, and it made me decide that I should continue to receive regular checkups in the future.
