What does it do?

Dasatinib is an anti-cancer drug belonging to the tyrosine kinase inhibitor class, used for the treatment of specific blood cancers such as chronic myelogenous leukemia. This ingredient inhibits the signal transduction of cancer cell growth, thereby suppressing the proliferation of cancer cells.

Dasatinib inhibits the abnormal protein BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase within cancer cells, blocking the signals that lead to cancer cell proliferation. As a result, the growth of cancer cells is halted, and apoptosis is promoted.
