This medication is used to supplement vitamin D during periods when it is needed, such as during pregnancy and lactation, in growing children, and in the elderly. It also helps prevent bone and dental growth disorders and rickets. This medicine contains zinc and selenium, which are effective in preventing and supplying deficiencies of these minerals. Therefore, it is used for maintaining overall bone health, normal growth, and enhancing immune function.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

For individuals aged 12 and older, the dosage is one tablet once daily.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or kidney diseases. Additionally, individuals with allergic reactions to this medication or its ingredients, infants under 12 months, and patients with kidney stones should also avoid it. During treatment, it is important not to take this medication alongside phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants, young children, and those with gastrointestinal diseases, heart and circulatory conditions, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, or a history of kidney stones must consult a healthcare professional before use. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dermatitis, foul odor during sweating or breathing, hair loss, anxiety, gastrointestinal disturbances, abdominal pain, low blood pressure, or pulmonary edema occur while taking this medication, usage should be stopped immediately and a professional consulted. Furthermore, if symptoms do not improve after an overdose or continued use for more than one month, it is advisable to consult a specialist. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid drinks containing tannins, such as green tea and black tea, before and after taking this medication.
