This medication is used for managing hypertrophic scars, keloid scars, acne scars, and surgical scars after wound treatment. Such scars often protrude or deform on the skin surface due to excessive collagen production. This medication helps suppress the growth of scar tissue and facilitates the healing process of the wound site, improving the appearance of the skin. It also helps alleviate discomfort or pain caused by the scar. With consistent use, scars become less noticeable, improving the patient's skin condition. Therefore, it is effectively used for scar management after wound treatment.
