This medication is used to prevent and alleviate symptoms such as dizziness, vomiting, and headache caused by motion sickness.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults aged 15 years and older should take 15 mL once. To prevent motion sickness, take the dose 30 minutes before boarding. If needed, additional doses may be taken at intervals of 4 hours or more. The maximum number of doses per day is 3.

Child dose

Children aged 11 years or older and under 15 years should take 10 mL once. Children aged 7 years or older and under 11 years should take 7.5 mL once. Children aged 3 years or older and under 7 years should take 5 mL once. For the prevention of motion sickness.

Precautions

This medication contains aspartame as an artificial sweetener. Aspartame is broken down in the body into phenylalanine and should not be used by patients with a genetic disorder called phenylketonuria. Although the aspartame content is controlled to the WHO recommended limit of 40mg/kg/day, caution should be taken not to exceed a maximum daily dose of 2.4g for a 60kg adult. Infants under 3 years old should not take this medication. It is also safe to avoid using this medication together with other antiemetics, cold medicines, antipyretics, analgesics, antihistamines, sedatives, cough medicines, gastric analgesics, or antispasmodics during treatment. Those who have had allergic reactions to medications, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, nursing women, patients with glaucoma or urination disorders, patients with heart disease, the frail or elderly, and those with respiratory diseases such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms like skin rash, redness, itching, headache, facial flushing, photophobia, urination disorders, dry mouth, constipation, or drowsiness occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. It is advisable to bring this medication's leaflet during the consultation. Always follow the prescribed dosage and method of administration, and when giving to children, supervision by a guardian is required. This medication may cause drowsiness, so driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. Unused medication after opening the package should be sealed tightly and used within 2 days. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight and in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed. Lastly, it is important not to transfer this medication to other containers to maintain quality.
