This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of folic acid deficiency. It is helpful when there is insufficient intake of folic acid from the diet, particularly in patients with chronic diseases or in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also effective for various types of anemia, excluding pernicious anemia, such as nutritional deficiency anemia, pregnancy-related anemia, pediatric anemia, and anemia caused by the use of antiepileptic drugs. It is used to treat megaloblastic anemia associated with alcoholism or liver disease. This medication plays an important role in improving various types of anemia and deficiency conditions.

How to take

Adult dose
