This medicine is used to prevent and relieve dizziness, vomiting, and headaches caused by motion sickness.
How to take
Adult dose
Aged 15 years and older: Take 1 pack once. Take 30 minutes before traveling to prevent motion sickness. If necessary, additional doses can be taken at least 4 hours apart. The maximum daily dose is limited to 3 times.
Child dose
Aged 11 to under 15 years: Take 2/3 of a pack once. Aged 7 to under 11 years: Take 1/2 of a pack once. Aged 3 to under 7 years: Take 1/3 of a pack once.
Precautions
This medicine contains the artificial sweetener aspartame. Aspartame is broken down in the body into a substance called phenylalanine, which can be harmful to individuals with a genetic condition known as phenylketonuria. Therefore, patients with this condition should not take this medicine. The daily intake of aspartame should be limited to no more than the 40mg/kg recommended by WHO; for example, it is safe for a 60kg adult to take a maximum of 24g per day. Infants under 3 years old should not take this medicine. While taking this medicine, it is advisable not to take other medications such as antiemetics, cold medicines, antipyretics, analgesics, antihistamines, sedatives, cough and phlegm suppressants, gastrointestinal analgesics, or antispasmodics. Individuals with a history of allergic reactions, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, individuals with heart diseases, glaucoma, urinary disorders, weakened constitution, the elderly, and those suffering from respiratory diseases such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis must consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, urinary difficulties, headache, facial flushing, photophobia, dry mouth, constipation, or drowsiness occur while taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a professional. It is recommended to bring the accompanying document of this medicine during the consultation. This medicine must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and administration, and it should be given to children under the supervision of a guardian. Additionally, this medicine may cause drowsiness, so driving a car or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. Any remaining medicine after the package is opened should be used within 2 days after sealing the opening well. Finally, this medicine should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place. Transferring the medicine to other containers can pose a risk of misuse and degrade the quality.
