Therefore, it is known that vitamin D is very effective for bone growth and skeletal health.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults: take 1 tablet once a day.

Child dose

Children aged 8 years and older: take 1 tablet once a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. Additionally, individuals who have an allergic reaction to this drug or its components, infants under 12 months of age, individuals with kidney stones, and those with severe renal impairment should also avoid this medication. While taking this medication, it is important to avoid taking other drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Infants under 1 year of age, patients receiving medical treatment, children who receive a lot of sunlight, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or premature and newborn infants should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients with heart or circulatory problems, impaired kidney function, low protein levels, those taking cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should also consult a specialist before taking this medication. If any unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, itching, hypotension, facial flushing, arrhythmia, or swelling occur during use, you should immediately stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Moreover, overdose may cause gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is advised. Long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia or kidney stones, requiring regular monitoring. Taking this medication along with aldosterone antagonists or triamterene may increase the risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, so be cautious. If symptoms do not improve even after taking it for about a month, it is essential to consult a specialist. It is crucial to adhere to the specified dosage and administration, and supervision by a guardian is required when administering to children. It is advisable to avoid consuming beverages containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, in a cool, airtight container, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is recommended not to transfer the product to another container.
