It is advisable not to take this medication simultaneously with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, and antacids. Patients currently undergoing treatment, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and premature infants or young children should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Long-term use may result in hypercalcemia or kidney stones; particularly careful monitoring is necessary if used alongside aldosterone antagonists or Triamterene, which could increase blood potassium levels. If excessive intake occurs unintentionally or if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, a specialist should be consulted immediately. This medication should always be taken according to the prescribed dosage instructions, and teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, should be avoided before and after taking it.
