Adult dose

Adults (15 years and older) should take 1 to 2 tablets once a day at bedtime (on an empty stomach). For the first dose, take the minimum amount and gradually increase or decrease based on the shape and condition of the stool.

This medication should not be taken by patients with serious intestinal diseases such as acute abdominal disease or intestinal obstruction. It is advisable not to take antacids or milk within 1 hour after taking this medication. Also, this medication contains lactose hydrate, so patients with a genetic problem that prevents lactose digestion should not use it. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, those experiencing severe abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, and those taking other medications should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Individuals with a history of allergies or those on a sodium-restricted diet, as well as those with a history of rectal bleeding or intestinal dysfunction, should also consult a professional before taking this medication. If you experience symptoms such as skin rash, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If abdominal discomfort or cramps occur, or if constipation does not improve after taking the medication for more than one week, you should stop taking it and consult a professional. You must strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration, and children under 10 years of age should avoid taking it unless in special cases. When taking the medication, do not chew the tablets but swallow them whole. Prolonged use may lead to tolerance and worsening of constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than one week. If constipation persists, the cause must be established. This medication should be stored out of the reach of children, and kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the medication, it is important not to transfer it to another container.
