Precautions

This medicine contains Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract as its main ingredient, and should not be taken by those who are hypersensitive to specific components. There is insufficient safety research in children and adolescents, so children and adolescents under 18 years of age should not take this medicine. It is safer for pregnant women not to take this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic disorders should avoid taking it. If you are taking anticoagulants or certain blood-related medications, caution is required as this medicine may enhance their effects when taken together. Additionally, this medicine can affect enzymes involved in drug metabolism in the liver, which may lead to variations in drug effects or duration when taken with other medications. Particularly when taken with calcium channel blockers or theophylline, changes in blood concentration may occur, so monitoring and dose adjustments by a healthcare professional are necessary. Individuals who are taking medications that pose a risk of bleeding or that can induce bleeding should consult with a healthcare provider. Breastfeeding women should consult with a professional, as it is uncertain whether this medicine is transmitted through breast milk. Patients with epilepsy should be cautious as there may be an increased risk of additional seizures when taking this medicine. If surgery is planned, it is advised to stop taking this medicine at least 36 hours prior to reduce the risk of bleeding. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks depending on symptoms, and if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, a consultation with a healthcare professional is necessary. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, confusion, skin rash, itching, or dizziness occur during treatment, immediate consultation with a physician is recommended. There have been reports of bleeding cases with long-term use, so caution is necessary. Unusual reactions such as dizziness or itching have also been reported, so inform healthcare personnel if these symptoms occur. Serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis have been rarely reported, so if sudden difficulty in breathing or swelling occurs, immediate emergency treatment should be obtained. This medicine is not a treatment for hypertension, so patients with high blood pressure may require separate treatment. When storing, keep out of the reach of children and store in the original container tightly closed. Transferring to another container may pose a risk of misuse or deterioration of quality, so caution is needed.
