This medication is used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, tearing, sore throat, and heaviness in the head caused by the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and ages 15 and older: 2 tablets per dose, 3 times a day Take after each meal, with at least 4 hours between doses.

Child dose

Ages 8 to under 15: 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day Take after each meal, with at least 4 hours between doses.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. People who are allergic to this medication or its components, or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions should avoid taking it. Individuals taking or having discontinued MAO inhibitors such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and anti-Parkinsonian drugs within the last 2 weeks should NOT take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so patients with lactose intolerance, hereditary lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not use it. It is safest not to take this medication together with other oral medications for rhinitis, cold medicines containing antihistamines, cough medicines, expectorants, anti-nausea medications, or allergy medications while taking it. People with a history of allergy, such as hives, dermatitis, migraines, food allergies, or who have previously experienced allergic symptoms like fever, rash, joint pain, asthma, or itching due to medication should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking it. Individuals with hypertension, cardiac diseases, kidney diseases, edema, glaucoma, urinary difficulty, thyroid diseases, diabetes, or those who are frail or have a high fever should also consult a professional before taking this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, the elderly, and those currently receiving treatment from a doctor should consult after counseling before taking this medication. Smokers or individuals experiencing cough due to chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or cough persisting for more than one week should also consult a professional before taking this medication, especially if accompanied by fever, rash, or headache. If symptoms such as hemorrhagic stroke, nausea, vomiting, severe thirst, constipation, loss of appetite, rash, itching, or urination difficulty appear during use, immediately stop taking the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Additionally, symptoms such as elevated blood pressure, edema, muscle weakness, or limb cramps may indicate aldosteronism or myopathy, so immediate consultation with a professional is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 doses, consult a doctor, and children under 2 years of age should not take the medication as a rule but should see a doctor if necessary. When taking the medication, adhere to the prescribed dose and duration, and avoid long-term use. When administering to children, supervision by a guardian is required. Drowsiness may occur during use, so avoid driving or operating machinery, and also refrain from alcohol consumption. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Additionally, to maintain quality, do not transfer to other containers to prevent misuse.
