Adult dose

This medicine should not be taken by those with too much calcium in the blood, those with unspecified systemic inflammatory diseases, or those with kidney diseases. Additionally, individuals who have allergic reactions to the ingredients in this medicine, infants under 3 months of age, and those with kidney stones should also refrain from taking this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with a genetic inability to digest lactose should not take it. During the course of taking this medication, certain drugs, such as levodopa, should not be taken together. Women who are undergoing treatment, pregnant, or nursing, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Particularly, care is needed as the vitamin D component can affect newborns through breast milk. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, itching, or swelling occur during use, it is essential to stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Additionally, prolonged high-dose intake of pyridoxine may cause nerve abnormalities, and high doses of vitamin B12 may lead to blood abnormalities. High-dose intake can worsen gastric ulcers or cause issues with blood sugar control, and liver damage or hyperuricemia may also occur. It is vital to adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and to note that the color of urine may change, which should be considered during clinical tests.
