Precautions

This medication should be used with caution in women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as administering over 5,000 IU of Vitamin A daily may increase the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Children, especially those under six years old, should not overdose on this medication, as the iron content can lead to severe poisoning or death; it should be kept out of reach of children. People with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, renal disease, hyperkalemia, Wilson's disease, hemochromatosis, nephrolithiasis, or severe renal failure should not take this medication. Those with allergic reactions to this medication or infants under the age of 12 months should also avoid it. Do not take this medication in conjunction with other drugs, especially phosphates, calcium salts, tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and levodopa. Consult with a physician or pharmacist if you are being treated for any condition, are pregnant or nursing, or have gastrointestinal, heart, or kidney diseases, or if you are allergic. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, heart irregularities, gastrointestinal disturbances, hair loss, or fever occur while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration; Vitamin A can be sufficiently acquired from diet, so caution should be exercised to ensure that supplemental intake does not exceed 5,000 IU per day. It is advisable to avoid tea containing tannins, such as green or black tea, during or right before/after taking this medication, and it should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight.
