As Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract, take 240 mg once daily, 1 tablet. Can be taken regardless of meals.
This medicine contains Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract, which requires specific caution. Firstly, individuals with allergies to any of the ingredients in this medicine or who have a history of hypersensitivity should not take it. Additionally, safety studies for children and adolescents are insufficient, so this medicine should not be used by persons under 18 years of age. Pregnant women should also avoid this medicine, and those with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it due to the presence of lactose. While taking this medicine, using it with blood-coagulation interfering drugs may increase the risk of bleeding, so it should not be combined with anticoagulants or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Moreover, this medicine may affect the metabolism of other drugs in the body, thus caution is necessary when taking it with specific medications like calcium channel blockers or theophylline, and dosage adjustments may be required per physician's instructions. People taking medications that pose a bleeding risk, nursing mothers, and individuals with epilepsy should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medicine. If surgery is planned, to reduce the risk of bleeding, this medicine should be discontinued at least 36 hours prior. This medicine should be taken for at least 8 weeks to see effects; however, if symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 months, consulting a doctor is necessary. If unusual symptoms such as nausea, headache, insomnia, anxiety, or skin rashes appear during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a healthcare professional should be consulted. This medicine is not a treatment for hypertension, so individuals with high blood pressure must receive separate treatment, and this medicine should not be relied upon solely to manage hypertension.
