This medication is used to relieve excessive stomach acid, heartburn, gastric discomfort, stomach bloating, dyspepsia (stomach fullness), nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, belching, dyspepsia-related stomach bloating, decreased appetite, and symptoms occurring due to overeating. In other words, it effectively improves various uncomfortable gastrointestinal symptoms, aids digestion, and helps restore stomach health.

How to take

Adult dose

For adults, take 2 tablets per dose, 3 times a day during meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Also, it contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders. Individuals allergic to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take this medication. Patients who have had allergic symptoms from this medication in the past, or those currently taking other medications, should use it with caution. Caution is also needed for patients with kidney or liver problems, and those receiving medical treatment. Care should be taken in particular for patients with low phosphate levels or abnormalities in fat metabolism. Patients who are elderly, have high blood pressure, heart or kidney diseases, or edema must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms such as reduced urine output, swelling of the face or limbs, eyelid heaviness, stiff hands, increased blood pressure, or headache occur during administration, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. Prolonged use may result in symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, so regular tests are required. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis arise, discontinue use and consult medical staff. When taking this medication, caution is advised when combined with potassium supplements, licorice-containing products, or certain diuretics, as the risk of side effects may increase. Allergic reactions, drowsiness, dizziness, lethargy, headache, constipation, and dry mouth may seldom occur; if these symptoms arise, discontinue use and consult an expert. It is essential to adhere to the prescribed dosage and dosage regimen, and if symptoms do not improve after taking for more than 2 weeks, consult an expert. Long-term use should be avoided, and those with a history of kidney disease must consult before taking. Patients at risk for fat overload should check their blood lipid levels and adjust dosages as necessary. It is advisable not to take this medication concurrently with gastrointestinal pain relievers or antispasmodics.
