This medication is used for patients who require the combined administration of amlodipine and ezetimibe/atorvastatin. Amlodipine improves symptoms of myocardial ischemia due to coronary artery diseases such as hypertension and stable and variant angina, and helps reduce the risk of hospitalization and revascularization procedures related to coronary artery disease. The ezetimibe/atorvastatin combination lowers bad cholesterol levels and raises good cholesterol levels in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. It is also used as an adjunctive or alternative treatment in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, effectively reducing cholesterol levels. This medication helps manage blood pressure and cholesterol, thereby improving cardiovascular health.
