Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in those who regularly consume 3 or more alcoholic beverages daily, so it must be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist. The medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, so special caution is needed for individuals with a history of cardiovascular disease or risk factors. It should be used at the lowest possible dose for the shortest duration. Serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal perforation, ulcers, and bleeding may occur, so elderly individuals or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease should carefully monitor for any symptoms during use. Patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication, severe cardiovascular disease, liver disease, renal impairment, active peptic ulcers, or inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pregnant or nursing women, should not take this medication. Patients with weakened liver or kidney function, asthma, hypertension, heart failure, edema, and elderly individuals should use caution when taking this medication and may require regular testing per a doctor's instructions. While taking this medication, adverse reactions such as dyspepsia, abdominal pain, headache, skin rashes, edema, dizziness, and insomnia may occur, so if any symptoms arise, immediate consultation with healthcare personnel is necessary. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and those who plan to conceive should consult a doctor before taking it. This medication is metabolized in the liver, so caution is necessary when taken with other medications that may impact liver function, and potential interactions with certain drugs should be communicated. Combining this medication with antihypertensive agents, diuretics, anticoagulants, antidepressants, and immunosuppressants may increase the risk of renal function decline or bleeding, so it should be taken under a doctor's guidance. During the use of this medication, regular blood tests, liver function tests, and kidney function tests should be conducted to check for abnormalities, and if any anomalies are found, the medication should be stopped immediately and healthcare personnel should be consulted. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur when taking this medication, so it is advisable to avoid activities that require alertness, such as driving or operating machinery. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established for children and adolescents, so it is recommended not to use it in these populations. Elderly individuals may have a higher risk of decreased kidney and liver function and should be closely monitored when taking this medication, starting at the minimum dose for individuals with low body weight. In case of overdose, symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, and abdominal pain may occur and immediate medical attention may be needed. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should not be transferred to other containers as this could adversely affect its quality.
