This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist before use by individuals who regularly consume more than three drinks per day, as there is an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taken by heavy drinkers. This medication may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular diseases such as thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke. This risk may increase depending on the dose and duration of treatment, so it should be taken at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration. Additionally, this medication can cause gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal perforation, ulcers, and bleeding. Special caution is required for the elderly or patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, and if symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers occur, medical attention should be sought immediately. This medication is contraindicated for patients with specific allergic reactions, severe cardiovascular, liver, or kidney diseases, active gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women. Patients with impaired liver or kidney function, asthma, heart failure, hypertension, fluid retention, and the elderly should be monitored more closely while taking this medication. While taking this medication, adverse reactions such as headache, dyspepsia, edema, rash, and elevated blood pressure may occur, and if any abnormal symptoms persist or worsen, medical advice should be sought immediately. This medication may interact with other medications, so it is important to inform the doctor, especially if taking medications metabolized by the liver, antihypertensive medications, anticoagulants, or diuretics. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication, and breastfeeding mothers are also advised to avoid it. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children and adolescents under 18 years of age, so it should not be used in this population. Elderly patients are at higher risk for decreased kidney, liver, and heart function, and caution is needed when taking this medication, including possible dose adjustments. Regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests should be conducted during treatment to monitor for abnormalities, and if any abnormal findings are noted, the medication should be stopped immediately. If symptoms such as dizziness or drowsiness occur after taking this medication, driving or operating machinery should be avoided. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, requiring immediate emergency treatment.
