This medication in a 100/1000 mg controlled-release form is taken once daily, with one tablet per dose. Patients taking the 50/500 mg controlled-release form or the 50/1000 mg controlled-release form should take two tablets simultaneously once daily. 1. Women who are pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding should not take this medication. Care should be taken during irregular meals, nutritional deficiencies, or intense exercise. Patients allergic to certain dyes should use this medication with caution. During use, be careful of hypoglycemic symptoms, and if taken with other hypoglycemic agents, the risk of hypoglycemia may increase, so blood sugar should be monitored frequently. This medication can affect liver and kidney function, so regular blood tests and kidney function tests should be performed, and any abnormal signs should be reported to a doctor immediately.
