This medication is used to treat intermittent claudication due to peripheral arterial circulation disorders. It also helps alleviate symptoms of dizziness and both vascular and degenerative tinnitus. Additionally, it is effective in treating organic brain dysfunction symptoms, which include tinnitus, headaches, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depressive feelings, and dizziness, including symptoms related to dementia. How to take

Adult dose

1) Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus: Administer 40 mg of ginkgo leaf extract 3 times a day or 80 mg 2 times a day orally. 2) Organic brain dysfunction: Administer 40-80 mg of ginkgo leaf extract 3 times a day or 120 mg 2 times a day orally. Adjust dosages as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication contains the artificial sweetener aspartame. As aspartame is broken down into phenylalanine in the body, it should not be used by patients with the genetic disorder phenylketonuria. People who have allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to this medication should not take it. Also, children under 12 years of age should not use this medication as there is insufficient research on its safety and efficacy. Pregnant women should carefully consider taking this medication before use. Although no teratogenic effects were observed in animal testing, there is a lack of sufficient data regarding its use during pregnancy.
