Precautions
This medication should not be taken by individuals who are allergic to this drug or any of its ingredients. Also, it should be avoided by infants under 12 months of age and patients with severe renal failure symptoms. During the use of this medication, it is important not to take certain medications such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, antacids, or levodopa. Women undergoing treatment, those who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, premature infants and babies, patients with heart or circulatory issues, those with poor kidney function, and patients with hypoalbuminemia should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loose stools, red spots, diarrhea, arrhythmia, or central nervous system depression occur while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. High doses of pyridoxine taken over a long period may lead to neurological damage symptoms, so caution is advised. Additionally, high-dose use may exacerbate peptic ulcers, cause glucose intolerance, hyperuricemia, and liver damage. Excessive doses may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema, so caution is needed. Particularly, use with antialdosterone agents or triamterene may result in hyperkalemia. In case of overdose, consult a healthcare professional immediately, and if symptoms do not improve after one month of use, discontinue and seek advice. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration strictly, and this medication may change urine color, affecting clinical test results.
