It is also used to relieve beriberi and fatigue of the eyes, contributing to overall health improvement. Therefore, this product is used to improve health across various age groups and conditions.
Dosage and Administration
Adult dosage
For adults and children over 8 years old: 1 tablet once daily
Precautions
This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, patients with sarcoidosis (a type of systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), and those with kidney function issues. Additionally, those who are allergic to this medicine or any of its ingredients, infants under 12 months old, patients with kidney stones, and patients with severe kidney dysfunction should avoid taking it. This medicine contains lactose, so it should not be used by patients with lactose intolerance due to a genetic disorder. During the intake of this medication, it should not be taken with phosphate, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, antacids, and certain medications like levodopa. Especially, individuals receiving other treatments, those exposed to a lot of sunlight, pregnant or potentially pregnant women, breastfeeding women, premature infants and infants, patients with heart or circulatory issues, patients with kidney disorders, patients with low protein levels, and those with a history of kidney stones should consult a doctor or a pharmacist before taking this medication. If symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, oral inflammation, decreased appetite, abdominal bloating, red spots on the skin, heart rhythm issues, or central nervous system dysfunction occur, the intake should be immediately stopped and a specialist consulted. Also, taking certain ingredients of this drug at high doses for long periods may cause nerve damage, blood disorders, peptic ulcers, blood sugar control issues, or liver damage, so caution is needed. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration carefully and monitor children during administration. Urine may turn yellow during intake, which could affect clinical test results. It is advisable to avoid drinking teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, kept away from direct sunlight, and stored in a cool, dry place in a tightly sealed container.
