Vitamin D is particularly important during pregnancy, breastfeeding, childhood growth, and old age. During these periods, it is necessary to consume sufficient vitamin D to maintain bone and dental health and promote growth. Additionally, vitamin D prevents deficient development of bones and teeth and helps to prevent bone diseases such as rickets. Therefore, the vitamin D contained in this medication is used to maintain bone health and prevent related diseases during key life stages such as pregnancy, growth, and old age.

How to take

Adult dose

Aged 8 years and older and adults: Take 1 tablet, 2 times a day

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia, sarcoidosis, or kidney disorders. Additionally, individuals with allergies to any of the ingredients in this medication and those under 12 months of age, patients with kidney stones, and individuals with severe renal failure should not take this medication. This medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication together with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Children under 1 year old, patients receiving medical treatment, children exposed to sunlight with normal diets, pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, breastfeeding mothers, premature infants, and infants should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking it. Patients with heart and circulatory diseases, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, those currently taking cardiac glycosides, and individuals with a history of kidney stones should also consult with a specialist before taking it. If symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, low blood pressure, flushing, irregular heartbeats, skin rashes, cardiac arrest, or central nervous system impairment occur during use, the medication should be immediately discontinued and a specialist should be consulted. Additionally, symptoms such as gastrointestinal disturbances, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, and edema may occur in case of overdose, so caution is needed. Long-term use may lead to hypercalcemia and kidney stones, and if symptoms do not improve, consult with a physician. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage guidelines, and when administered to children, supervision by a guardian is required. It is advisable to avoid consuming teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before and after taking this medication. When storing, keep it in a sealed container away from children, avoiding direct sunlight, and in a cool, low-humidity place. Furthermore, to preserve quality and prevent misuse, do not transfer to another container.
